CFH COACH, CF-L3
SARAH
Sarah is the owner of CrossFit Haddington. Originally from Atlanta, GA, Sarah has been coaching for over 20 years and is a former NCAA Division 1 softball player. Having become a CrossFit Level 3 Trainer in 2018, she and her family founded CrossFit Haddington in May 2019. Her first ever CrossFit workout was “Murph”; her favourite is “Grace”.

CFH COACH, CF-L2
KIM
Kim has been a CrossFit Coach since 2019 having taken up the sport in 2013. She qualified as a physical education teacher at the University of Edinburgh and has been coaching young people for over 10 years.
Away from CrossFit Haddington, Kim is a keen horse rider and hockey player. Her first CrossFit WoD was eight intervals of an 800m run; her favourite is “Mary”.

CHLOE
Chloe's CrossFit journey started right here at CFH in 2019! Her first WoD was a cracker - featuring rounds of Assault Bike and dumbell front squats. Previous to CrossFit, Chloe began coaching Wakeboarding in her teen years and has loved the profession ever since. She has her CrossFit Level 2 and British Weightlifting Level 1 coaching qualifications. Her favourite workout is the Hero WoD Holleyman. Away from the gym she loves to cook, snowboard, discover new specialty coffees and watch live music.

STEPHEN
Stephen started CrossFit in 2018, and has been coaching in different capacities for 12 years now. His first coaching qualifications were in Personal Training and Rugby Union, going on to undergo a number of different certifications including a HND in Coaching & Development of Sport. Stephen took his CrossFit L2 in May 2024. Away from the gym Stephen enjoys good coffee, music, gaming, time with friends / family and sport! His first workout was Grace with an empty barbell and his favourite workouts are anything in a team.

ELLIOT
Elliot got his CrossFit Level 1 coaching qualification in 2022 and soon added his Coaching the Aging Athlete/Masters Certificate which he puts to good use coaching our Masters sessions. He discovered CrossFit here at CFH in 2019 and has a clear memory of his first workout - a Pairs YGIG 20min AMRAP 200m Row & 20 Wall Balls! His favourite workout of all though is Fight Gone Bad - a combination of metabolic conditioning, gymnastics and weightlifting all in one WOD. Away from the gym, Elliot enjoys Lawn Bowling, football & watching Hibs at Easter Road.

SARAH
When Coach Sass started CrossFit in 2019, she had no idea what it actually was - her first workout included an introduction to double unders - but she was quickly hooked and has never looked back. Starting to coach the sport in 2021, Sass then gained her CrossFit L2 in May 2024. She loves barbell cycling and names Fran, Grace and Murph among her favourite workouts.
Away from CrossFit she enjoys huge hikes with her dog, dabbles in Strongman and loves spending time with her family.

CRAIG
Coach Craig’s first ever CrossFit workout was Murph on 31st of May 2021 - a date he remembers fondly as it sparked his love for the sport. His favourite workouts are hero WODs Annie and Helen, which sit in his affections alongside his wife and son, time in a hot tub, and playing drums and guitar with his band and son (he has a mean Dave Grohl-esque rock and roll scream!). Craig is also a NYT Crossword devotee and holds his CrossFit L1.

JUDE
Coach Jude has been hooked on CrossFit since she first started it in 2015 and she has remained an avid participant and student of the sport since then. She holds numerous certifications including her CrossFit level 2, Level 3 personal training, Level 3 pre and post natal exercise, Level 4 nutrition coaching and BWL level 2. Her favourite WOD is Cindy and away from the gym she enjoys running, yoga and hill walking!
